Alt-pop extraordinaire, Noella Nix might just have created her crossover mainstream hit with the brilliantly naughty “Bad Things.”

Coming off a string of dark-pop releases in the last year like “Someone” and “Bye Bye,” Nix merges her dark side with an overall more pop/dance edge that makes you want to jump straight on the dancefloor.

The one thing that immediately gets you about the track is Nix’s captivating vocals. The draw you in from the get-go – a dark-pop element that is often used to create a sense of mystery.

The rousing verses race towards the epic party chorus where Nix’s voice shares some of the production with adlibs that blend perfectly.

Lyrically, the track is about, well…bad things. It discusses not being able to get a certain someone off your mind and just wanting to be with them, emotionally and sexually.

“YOU ARE THE ONE THAT I AM DREAMING OF/ AND I CAN’T, NO I CAN’T GET YOU OFF MY MIND…YOU’RE A BAD BOY/I’MA BE A BAD GIRL TO YOU”
