DNCE – “Kissing Strangers” ft. Nicki Minaj | Review

DNCE are sticking to their “Cake By The Ocean” formula for their new track, “Kissing Strangers” – oh, and Nicki Minaj stops by because why not? She’s in everything else!

DNCE had a fab hit with “Cake,” it was a pop-rock (losing the term ‘rock’ lightly there) anthem that had everyone on their feet, unfortunately, the band just took that sound and copied it for their next few releases which just ended up boring.

“Kissing Strangers” is another track that slips right into their catalogue without distinguishing itself amongst the rest.

Yes, it’s catchy and will be stuck in your head, but that doesn’t make it a brilliant song, look at “Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen,” shit but you were singing it all week,

The highlight of this song is Minaj – of course!

Her flow is on point, like, out of all the features she’s released this year, as well as her own singles, her flow has never been better and sounded so effortless.

She brings the personality the track needs with her quirky accents and shit talking lyrics.

Bow down to Nicki for saving yet another song this year!
