S4U – “Isle Of Dogs” | Reviews

S4U bring the house down with their new electronic-r&b single, “Isle Of Dogs.”

The duo – made up of producer, Prinz George and singer, Rosita Bonita – aren’t new to this genre, their past releases like “One Key” and “Twice” have crossed these genres while introducing other influences such as trap and hip-hop in the production!

“Isle Of Dogs” is a FKA Twigs style warped-electronic track that captivates you from the first beat drop. The production is truly dreamy, in the darkest way possibly, but through the dark vibes, there’s little glimpses of life given to us through Bonita’s vocals.

Her vocals effortlessly switch between pitchy notes to a classic r&b delivery that we got used to hearing from Mary J Blige and Aaliyah back in the day.

Lyrically, the song discusses technology and relationships – something I’ve been seeing more of recently.

I don’t really wanna know, what you’re saying to your friends…deleted you so I don’t see/I read your texts/I read your messages
