Raye – “The Line” | Review

Raye is here to help us forget about the worries in our life with the fun and carefree, “The Line.”

Fresh off the back of her her Jax Jones collab, “You Don’t Know Me,” Raye is running with similar club ready vibes to claim yet another dancefloor smash!

The greatest thing about this song is its lack of depth, it’s not talking about heartbreak, nor is it about finding the true you through life experience – it’s simply a track to make you dance and forget about how crap your life is.

We’ve been waiting in line to get into this club, like all night/We don’t wanna go home so we’ll take it outside, yeah outside

The song does its job, it gets you on your feet and with simple, Friday night ready lyrics and an easily groove-able (did I actually just use that word, what am I, 80?) production.

We need a club kid since Katy B has fallen off the face of the planet, there’s been a gap for a fun loving, British star to just bring the carefree vibes – well, Raye is here now!
