Nabiha merges a few genres flawlessly on her new Lady Leshurr assisting single, “Drunk.”
If you’ve listened to any of Danish artist, Nabiha’s music before, you’ll know it’s all pretty fucking cool, crossing the bridge between polished r&b beats and the catchiness of pop music – with a little something extra thrown in.
“Drunk” opens with an energetic vibe that draws you straight into the track before the r&b feels that we’re used to with Nabiha enters.
Quickly though, a trap-inspired house beat is introduced in the chorus which takes the song in a new direction, ready for U.K rapper, Leshurr.
Now, you know we here are Pursuit Of Pop already love a bit of Leshurr, just check out her EP, Mode!
Leshurr owns her verse with her own style of attitude filled, hilarious bars full of her witty ad-libs – she really knows how to make her mark.
Both artists voices work together really well, complimenting each other as well as the hybrid-genre production!
You really get a buzz from the song, something Nabiha wanted when writing, “”Drunk” was written after the hard times I went through. I had a real need to let my hair down, go out and have fun” – you succeeded my dear!
