Stockholm Noir – “Island” | Review

Stockholm Noir are unstoppable, fresh off the back of the amazing  “Boy Like A Girl,” the band have released the Euro-house smash that is “Island.”

We’ve been pretty obsessed with the band since they dropped their debut single, “Hopeless Dreams,” back in April – somehow they’ve managed to get better and better!

At five minutes long, this isn’t a quick listen, you’ve gotta be in it for the long haul – Luckily, there is a strong house bassline to keep us occupied for the first 45 seconds before a beautiful voice takes over.

Granted, there is a two-minute wait for the breakdown, but it’s the whole building of anticipation that makes the dance-break as good as it is!

The bands dark-euro pop is equally as haunting as it is compelling – its truly magical and hypnotising.
