Lizzo – “Water Me” | Review

Lizzo takes water and gives it another meaning in her latest video for new single, “Water Me.”

You have probably heard of Lizzo before, the American is an equally talented rapper as she is a singer and after gifting us two albums and an amazing EP, the star is back with her uplifting new anthem, “Water Me.”

The single, produced by the Grammy nominated Ricky Reed, is a song all about caring about ourselves in order to give the best we’ve got – using water as the metaphor.

“I don’t get dehydrated, I moisturise it daily, I’m my inspiration,” Lizzo exclaims, on the track – be your best in order to give your best.

She sounds great on the track, effortlessly floating between spitting bars and singing the self-insuring chorus over the uplifting and fun Reed-produced synth, hard hitting beats.
