Demi Lovato – “Tell Me You Love Me” | Review

Demi Lovato drops the sass that she brought on “Sorry Not Sorry” in favour of a more longing and lonely tone on the title track to her upcoming album, “Tell Me You Love Me.”

We’re racing into the final quarter of the year and in typical fashion, things are hotting up with the huge artists preparing their comeback – Taylor Swift, P!nk and now Lovato.

“Tell Me You Love Me” is a big banging, clapping and walloping ballad about needed someone, “’cause you ain’t nobody ’till you got somebody” – apparently.

While the sass of “Sorry” took aim at an ex, her latest track shows the emotion inside her, perhaps the real side of the attitude she previously showed.

While Lovato’s vocals are powerful and would have passed their MOT with flying colours, they don’t seem to exude the emotion we’re used to hearing from a ballad off the star, on “Skyscraper” or “Stone Cold,” for example.

With the promo campaign in full swing, we can all get excited for Lovato’s new album due out September 29th.
