Zak Abel – “Only When We’re Naked” | Review

Zak Abel shares the title track to his upcoming debut album, Only When We’re Naked.

Abel is well and truly on the path to his debut album having released a plethora of singles in the last year, starting with “Unstable” that has gone on to garner over 27 million streams on Spotify.

“Only When We’re Naked” shows yet another side to the singer, we’ve seen the edgy R&B-pop mix, the acoustic side and the folky rock-pop – now we’re getting the cool retro soul-pop vibes.

The piano that carries the song under the synth beats really compliments Abel’s raspy vocal that would totally suit the sound of yester-years.

The song effortlessly oozes a coolness and confidence from Abel which is simply infectious – just try not moving to this song.
