Billy Cullum brings us some more brilliant dream-pop, electro vibes on his latest single, “Hands Are Gonna Fall.”
The single comes from his upcoming debut album, Lonely Hearts Club, and follows already released singles, “YLMW” and “Born To Make You Happy” – not a Britney cover!
Cullum states his influences as Troye Sivan, MØ and Charli XCX (to name a few), and you can definitely hear the effect of their influence on his sound, yet he comes off unique – you wouldn’t confuse Cullum with anyone.
The minimalist, dream-pop production, alongside Cullum’s pitched voice, lift you and almost hypnotise you for the duration of the song.
The independent singer is really setting the bar high for himself, we really hope he can hit that bar (and push it further) on his debut album.
