Una Sand – “Wanderlust” | Review

Una Sand has never sounded more confident that she does on her new single, “Wanderlust.”

Norwegian-born Sand is already making a name for herself, being signed to Sony at the tender age of 18, as well as creating songs that contain more experimentation and creativity that your favourite could only dream of.

“Wanderlust” tops anything that the star has done before, from the Melanie Martinez-esque, “Seventeen,” and the atmospheric, “You & I.”

From the very start, the track draws your attention with the R&B synth that comes crashing down before clicks and Sand’s glorious vocal bounce to the forefront.

Pop music is at its best when great songwriting, a brilliant chorus and a sense of experimentation come together, and that’s exactly what you get here – it would be so easy to stick to sounds she’s tried before, but no, she puts herself in unfamiliar territory and it pays off massively.

We can’t wait to hear what the star has to offer!
