SAVEUS – “Watch The World” | Review

With a voice older than his years, SAVEUS blows us away with his latest track, “Watch The World.”

SAVEUS (real name, Martin Hedegaard) is a 24-year-old multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer from the small town of Ørum, Denmark, who rose to fame when he won the first season of the Danish version of The X Factor.

For his latest track, he’s teamed up with Andrew Dawson, a man that has worked with Jay Z and Kid Cudi – he is also the main man for Kanye West.

“Watch The World” can be summed up in one word, epic!

From the very first beat crash, it makes a mark and as well as commanding your attention, it makes you want to rise from your seat and shout along with the rousing rallying-ness of the song.

‘Digital soul’ it’s being described as, and you can really hear that vibe – it has the commercial electronic sounds mixed in with a passion that only comes from soul music.

Talking about the track, SAVEUS states; “Watch the World” is a note to myself. It’s a reminder that I’m an accomplice in this new world order where rules for common sense is changing. The worst part is that I don’t do anything about it. I just watch.”

Words that take on new meaning when taken into context with the recent Vegas shooting!
