Jerry Williams – “Mother (Acoustic)” | Review

Jerry Williams new version of her Spotify hit single, “Mother,” may be better than the original.

At the age of 21, Williams has already amassed a lot of success, gracing the stage at V Festival, Victorious Festival and has recently been added to The Great Escape’s 2018 line-up as well as releasing her debut EP, Let’s Just Forget About It, whose lead track “Mother,” a full-bodied indie-pop hit, racked up an incredible 5M Spotify streams and counting.

But now, we have a new, acoustic cover of the indie-pop hit and we’re a little in love.

While the original is beautiful, the production kinda hides her voice, whereas the simple guitar cover allows her soft and delicate vocal to soar and become the main attraction of the song.

She may already be making waves with her beautiful sound and voice, but she’s definitely one to keep your eyes on in the near future!
