Stine Bramsen – “L.A.C.K” | Review

Stine Bramsen returns to grace us with the electro-pop bop, “L.A.C.K.”

Bramsen is a huge name in Denmark, a number one, gold-selling album (FiftySeven) comes to mind, but outside of the country you may not recognise her name – let me just mention the word; Alphabeat.

Yes, she is part of the late naughties conquering band that tore the charts up with their playful dance/Euro-pop amazingness.

While Alphabeat are away, Bramsen is aiming to become the next big name in pop, and if she delivers more tunes like “L.A.C.K,” she may very well do that!

The track is an electro-pop slice of greatness, the simmering synth undercurrent sets us up for the explosive chorus where irregular beats jump in and kick us in the face – in the best possible way, of course.

Maybe because we were having too much fun listening to Alphabeat, but we never realised how nice Bramsen’s voice is to listen to – it’s inviting and kind of kisses your ears with every word.

Talking about the track, Bramsen stated; Sometimes you have to create a vacuum around yourself and the ones you love to simply shut out the hate, violence, and inhumanity we see around the world every day. ‘L.A.C.K.’ is about how difficult it can be to find the right balance of being in this mad world with an aching heart while allowing yourself to be happy and present, right where you are.”

We can’t wait to see what else Bramsen has in store for us!
