Fickle Friends – “Hard To Be Myself” | Review

Fickle Friends continue with their 80s inspired synth-pop on latest track, “Hard To Be Myself.”

The band released their second EP,¬†Glue, two months ago and that was our first taste of the band – since then we have delved into their previous stuff and we’re fucking living.

“Hard To Be Myself” sticks with the style that’s brought the band their lucrative record deal and thousands of fans around the world – and we couldn’t be happier.

The track bops from synth to synth and acts as an undercurrent for the real driving force of the track, lead singer, Natassja Shiner, amazingly intriguing vocal.

This song takes you straight back to the 80s, i.e. the best era of pop that there ever has been, and gives us all the life we need!
