Millie Turner turns her poem written on an industrial estate, “Eyes On You,” into a piece of folktronic goodness.
A couple of months ago, Turner released her debut single, “Underwater,” a song that brought in electronic and synth influences yet ultimately kept her classic, folk-esque, singer-songwriter vibe glowing through.
Well, now she’s back with a calmer, but no less intriguing, single and we’re falling more and more in love with the 17-year-old with every new note we hear from her.
“Eyes On You” lies on a simple low key hook and simple beat to carry it from start to finish, it’s the stars brilliant songwriting and beautiful voice that keep you invested to the very end.
