L.A.W – “Grow Old” | Review

“Grow Old” marks the start of new singer-songwriter duo, L.A.W.

We get a lot of emails from up-and-coming bands asking us to promote their first single and often we have to decline for reasons ranging from ‘it’s crap’ to ‘it doesn’t fit our site’, but L.A.W’s new single is just irresistibly charming.

Love@War (that’s what their name stands for) have managed to craft a song that’s instantly inviting as it is enjoyable with its indie-folk vibes that have been dipped in a bucket of pop for a nice little shimmer.

The laidback, distorted vocal from Sam Cook and Jordan Cather actually suit the song, and we’re not usually fans of distorted vocals on folk-esque tracks.

The pair describes this track as “nostalgic driving music,” something we can totally see with the song.

We look forward to hearing what else the duo can offer!
