HANDSOME gets us excited for her 2018 EP, No Hat No Play, with her brand new electro-pop single, “Late Night Ball Game.”
The singer, also known by her everyday name, Caitlin Park, is having a great end to 2017, not only has she signed with Dot Dash Recordings and announced her debut EP, but she’s released her first official track alongside it’s partnering video!
“Late Night Ball Game” is a brooding and moody electro-pop song that brings in elements of trap for an irregular synth that hits hard in the most subtle way.
Park’s vocals fit the restrained anthemic nature of this song, with it’s deep and smooth tones that sound perfectly alongside Joyride’s even deeper and strong vocals!
The song and video contain a beautiful message that’s close to Park’s heart, coming out. As a queer woman, she’s dealt with something that can be extremely difficult, and in her own words, is met with “turmoil, and hurt and pain.”
In the world that we are living in, the message is as strong as ever for the children growing up in the LGBTQ+ community.
