Country queen, Shania Twain, is preparing the third single, “Who’s Gonna Be Your Girl,” from her number one album, Now.
At one point, Twain ruled the country-pop crossover waves with hits like “Man! I Feel Like A Woman” and “You’re Still The One,” and although there was a 15-year gap between albums, she is still a mega-force in the industry.
The mid-tempo ballad rests on the border that a lot of Twain’s songs do, country enough to keep to her roots, but pumped full of pop-sensibilities that give the track it’s mainstream appeal.
Her voice is as arresting as ever, drawing you in with each note while exuding emotion with every lyric.
You might even be able to catch her sing the song live if you’re lucky enough!
The five-time GRAMMY Award-winner returned to the UK for her first gig on these shores in 13 years with a show-stealing performance at this year’s Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park. The hit-filled set is a taster of what’s to come on her 2018 UK tour, which includes two shows at the O2 Arena. (dates below)
