French producer, Petit Biscuit releases his new video for “Beam,” from his upcoming debut album, Presence.
“Beam” follows the DJ’s previous hit with Panama, “Waterfall,” which has gone on to garner nearly six million streams on Spotify – for good reason too, it’s a brilliant track.
The visual for “Beam” is beautiful in the strangest way – computer animated landscapes of real-life places shouldn’t look ‘beautiful’, but it really does.
“This video is a metaphor for the genesis of my debut album Presence: a long journey from one unreal situation to the next,” says the producer, “It’s only now that I’ve begun to realize everything that’s happened in the last few months: the disproportionate achievements we’ve forged with hard work, with the kind of stubbornness that enables us to realize our dreams.”
The key word there is “unreal,” and that exactly what ties it all together – Petit Biscuit is quite smart really.
