Mark Ronson – “Late Night Feelings” featuring Lykke Li | Review

Mark Ronson is back with the disco-inspired “Late Night Feelings,” featuring the brilliant Lykke Li.

Following the smash that was Ronson’s Miley Cyrus featured smash, “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart,” he’s ready to give us another taste of his upcoming album.

I honestly thought he’d stick with the country-inspired hits following Joanne and his previous single, but “Late Night Feelings” is a nice change, while sticking to his brand of throwback jams.

The production has a definite 70/80s funk-disco vibes that instantly offer a sense of nostalgia, but he puts a little modern spin on them to keep them from sounding dated.

Li is already a bit of an obsession of mine, proving time and time again that she can turn her versatile vocals to anything she damn well pleases – and it’s no different here!

Ronson is on fire at the moment, releasing bops as part of Silk City alongside Diplo as well as churning out some of his best songs yet!
