Carly Rae Jepsen – “Too Much” | Review

Carly Rae Jepsen serves one of her strongest singles in a hot minute with “Too Much.”

We’re only one week away from the brand new Jepsen album, Dedicated, and after her last brilliant album, we’re very excited – even if the prior singles haven’t really given us as much life.

“Too Much” feels like a return to form after “Julien” which really left us not too bothered about the upcoming album.

The track sounds like some of the harsher cuts from Emotions, like “Gimme Love” and “Warm Blood,” with its hard beats and breathy vocals.

What’s always great about Jepsen music is that it gives us equal parts nostalgia, with its strong 80s and 90s vibes, and pop brilliance that sounds ever so current.

“Too Much” should (‘should’ because everyone sleeps on her) be all over the airwaves and in every club this summer with its strutworthy beat.
