Will Young – “My Love” | Review

Will Young takes us straight to the gay bar with his new single, “My Love.”

After March’s “All The Songs,” Young is serving us a second taste of his upcoming album,¬†Lexicon, and honestly, at the moment, it sounds like it’s going to be pretty brilliant!

“My Love” is a brooding pop song with a strong house influence, with a bit of soul thrown in behind the scenes to add a little bit more greatness.

His previous song was great, but felt a little dated, like it could’ve appeared on his past albums, but “My Love” feels completely current and could’ve been released by Years and Years!

Young’s vocals aren’t’ really the draw of this song, focusing more on production and club vibe, but he is serving as he always does!

People are quick to count people out who that don’t release music for a while, Young is proving he is far from being over and a has-been!
