Cheryl – “Let You” | Review

Cheryl releases her shoulda-been lead single, “Let You” – but does that mean it’s any good?

Cheryl’s big comeback was more of a whimper, after releasing so many bops in her past, “Love Made Me Do It” just didn’t pack the punch she needed to revive her career after four years away from the spotlight.

“Let You” is a sort of return to form for the star, but it still isn’t the monster hit she needs, or we need.

The record is a mid-tempo banger that will fill gay bars up and down the country, and it’s the kind of track we want from Cheryl, rather than the momentless¬†“LMMDI.”

It just isn’t enough for four years away to relight the spark that once made her Britains biggest solo star.

Least the promo shots and the video are pretty good!
