Kim Petras – “Clarity” | Review

Kim Petras continues to serve us music like restaurant serve food, this time it’s “Clarity” that gets to take the spotlight.

Petras only closed her previous era in March, and since then the star has delivered a song a week, and surprisingly they’ve mostly been hits!

“Clarity” isn’t the strongest track she’s released so far, but it’s a nice little pop bop that mixes in a 2005/06 R&B vibes to give it an almost Mariah Carey, The Emancipation of Mimi sound.

Petras’s vocals are heavily auto-tuned, but unlike everything Madonna is offering us from Madame X, it actually works!

Will this be the song that Petras will be remembered by in 30 years? No, but it’s a nice little two-minute bop for today!
