Song of the Week – Zara Larsson – “All the Time” | Review

Zara Larsson delivers a more grown-up vibe with her new pop gem, “All the Time.”

Larsson’s current run towards her upcoming third album is proving to be an exciting one. Starting with last years grower, “Ruin Your Life,” the star has delivered two dancefloor fillers with “Don’t Worry Bout Me” and “Wow,” even collaborating with BTS on “A Brand New Day.”

You know when you listen to a song and just think ‘this feels right’, that’s exactly what I think about this song.

“All the Time” is just a perfect pop gem that contains a more vintage sound than we’re used to from Larsson, like Dua Lipa¬†played with on her debut album – although it still contains that fun, modern pop core that the Swedish singer always carries in her music.

If this song doesn’t do well on the charts I will eat my cap, it checks off everything that great pop is, relatable lyrics, catchy chorus, danceable production and leaves you with a good feeling – most songs from Larsson this era have ticked those marks but the charts don’t seem to be eating them up like they did a couple of years ago.

If you weren’t ready for Larsson’s upcoming album, I bet my life you are now!
